The Upstate - South Carolina

Upcountry South Carolina, at the northwestern tip of the state, is known for its rolling hills, peach farms, waterfalls, mountain scenery and abundance of lakes and whitewater rafting. Opportunities for hiking, fishing, boating and other outdoor adventures abound at the area's many state parks including Caesar's Head, Table Rock, Keowee-Toxaway, Oconee and Chatooga National Wild and Scenic River. The 130-mile Cherokee Foothills Scenic Highway travels through the Blue Ridge Mountains.

The fastest growing region in South Carolina, the Upstate including Greer, Greenville and Spartanburg is headquarters to several large national and international corporations including BMW, Bosch and Michelin.
