Top April Events Around the Upstate

Tomorrow marks a brand new month — as well as a brand new line-up of events for you to enjoy! From live music and fun runs to fun-filled food festivities, there is something for everyone on our list of this month’s top family-friendly events.

2017 Cornhole Derby (April 1)

Start your month off on the right foot by supporting an incredible cause — and having fun in the process! Hosted at Trailblazer Park in Travelers Rest, the Cornhole Derby will include some friendly competition, refreshing libations and plenty of prizes for participants. The proceeds from the event will support the Center for Developmental Services.

2017 SpringSkunk Music Fest (April 6-8)

Hosted at the Albino Skunk Farm, the 2017 SpringSkunk Music Fest is a three-day music festival that will include performances by bluegrass, folk and country music performers. The festival also features food trucks, vendors and craft booths throughout the festival site. Whether you decide to camp for the whole time or simply stop by for a few hours, this is one festival that you won’t want to miss.

Stop by the Greer’s Farmers’ Market as the Depot kicks off the market season with a special event. Honoring small batch makers from across the state, this event will include delicious treats, refreshing libations, beautiful crafts and plenty of fun for the whole family. 

Greenville Humane Society Mutt Strut (April 29)

Don’t miss South Carolina’s largest dog-friendly race in downtown Greenville! This two-mile race begins and ends in the festive Mutt Market at Falls Park, featuring free food, live music and plenty of dog-friendly entertainment. Enjoy a leisurely stroll or a brisk jog with your favorite four-legged friend all for a great cause! The proceeds from this event will benefit the Greenville Humane Society.
