Hosted at Greer City Park, the 10th annual Freedom Blast is the perfect way to kick-off the Independence Day festivities. Featuring inflatables for the kiddos, live music, food and heartfelt tributes to our military, you’re bound to leave feeling patriotic. Plus, there will be a rib-eating contest and a firework show! What more could you want in a 4th of July celebration?
This fun, free Independence Day celebration is one you’ll definitely want to check out. Hosted at the Heritage Park Amphitheatre in Simpsonville, this event includes a charity parachute jump, military swearing-in ceremony, a concert by the Charlie Daniels Band, and of course, fireworks!
The 25th annual ClemsonFest includes a special appearance from the award-winning Carolina Coast Band, as well as a flag raising ceremony, free giveaways, food vendors and so much more. If you’re looking to celebrate 4th of July a day early, this is definitely an event you’ll want to add to your itinerary.
Known as Greenville’s premier 4th of July celebration, the Wells Fargo Red, White and Blue Festival is a must-see. The festivities kick off at 5 p.m. and feature live music on two stages, a dedicated Kids Zone and a variety of food and beverage vendors lined up along downtown Greenville’s Main Street and within the Drive Stadium. This event even includes one of the state’s largest fireworks displays!
Head on down the road to Spartanburg’s Barnet Park for their annual 4th of July celebration from 6 to 10 p.m. Enjoy the musical stylings of the Spartanburg Community Band and Jessie’s Girls, followed by a grand finale firework show presented by Zambelli Fireworks. In between acts, fill up on ice cream, funnel cakes, burgers, BBQ, hotdogs, and so much more!
