And while we are fully prepared for this new season, we are not fully prepared for all of the exciting events happening around town. But we are excited for it! So, join us as we start gearing up to bring the whole family to one (or all) of these amazing Upstate events.
If you love comedy, then you will fall head over heels for the New South Comedy Festival happening the first week of November! Join Reedy Reels at the Gunther Theatre for two full days of film-spiration. This event promotes the art of filmmaking and generates support for independent filmmakers, especially around the Upstate. Who doesn’t love a nice, warm bowl of chili? Stop by Greer Station between 5 and 8 p.m. on Nov. 8 to fill up on this favorite fall dish! Local Greer restaurants like The Blue Ridge Brewing Company, The Bleu Porch Kitchen & Market and WING strategies will go head-to-head to win the title of Best Chili in Greer as well as the People’s Choice Award.
Instead of fighting the long lines at the big retail stores on Black Friday, show some support for Greer’s local businesses on Saturday, Nov. 24. Join other Upstate residents for #SmallBizSat, where you can #ShopSmall at your favorite local retailers and show why you are proud to live #HereinGreer.
Once Thanksgiving has come and gone, it’ll be time to start prepping for the next big holiday season!
